thecorner.com + Giles Deacon for Vogue.Com’s Fashion’s Night In

In honor of VOGUE.COM’s Fashion’s Night In on November 1st 2010 at thecorner.com, the virtual space that presents a selection of artisans and cutting-edge brands, teams up with one of Britain’s most talented designers, Giles Deacon, to raise money for KidsCo, a charity that aids underprivileged children.

Starting from 5pm on Fashion Night In, thecorner.com will gift to the first 50 shoppers on the site a tote designed by Giles Deacon. Featuring a lime-green print called “Flintstone”, this unique shopper is an iconic offering from one of the most acclaimed and exciting British designers.

Giles Deacon was named “British Fashion Designer of the Year” in 2006 at the British Fashion Awards. He has worked for Bottega Veneta and Gucci, and launched his eponymous line, GILES, in 2003. Known for his wild prints, pop-culture references and emphasis in humour, Giles Deacon’s creations continue to attract attention internationally.

Fashion’s Night In an initiative created by vogue.com, follows the great success of September’s Fashion Night Out, this time bringing all the shopping action online with proceeds continuing to support KidsCo. Featuring exclusive digital fashion events from the internet’s best e-commerce sites, VOGUE.COM’s Fashion’s Night In is more than a night of exciting and exclusive digital fashion events. As part of the good cause, thecorner.com will donate 10% of the sales placed during the event (5pm – midnight GMT) to KidsCo.
